Camp Manitowa -Rend Lake

In 2010, owners Dan and Andy bought and invested $1 million in construction and a complete renovation of Camp Manitowa Rend Lake's facilities. They opened that summer for their first season and have held sleep-away summer camps and retreats and festivals at the 40-acre property ever since.

Camp Manitowa Rend Lake offers campers and renters the newest, freshest camp in the Benton area of Southern Illinois, with all of the following amenities:

  • 10 yurts with a total capacity of 160
  • Office building including 8 dorm rooms with a total capacity of 24
  • Four cabins with a total capacity of 16
  • Commercial kitchen
  • Health center
  • "Wig Wam" recreation lodge & game room
  • Outdoor swimming pool
  • Baseball/softball field with outfield fence, dugouts, & backstop
