The Final Campfire of First Session 2026

As we bid our last goodnight to First Session 2026, we’re reflecting on three unforgettable weeks filled with friendship, laughter, campfires, new adventures, and countless Manitowa memories.

This summer also marked an exciting milestone in Camp Manitowa history: for the first time, we offered a continuous three-week resident camp experience. Watching campers embrace the full journey—from opening day through one final evening under the stars—was truly special. New traditions took root, friendships grew even deeper, and our community experienced the magic of an extended summer together.

To all of our First Session campers, families, and staff: thank you for making this inaugural three-week session such a tremendous success. Your enthusiasm, kindness, and camp spirit made history at Manitowa, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Now, the countdown begins for our next adventure! We can’t wait to welcome our Second Session campers later this week and fill camp with fresh faces, familiar traditions, and another incredible week on Rend Lake.
