One More Day. Maybe One More Week.

An epic first week at Camp Manitowa has us asking a simple question: who wants more camp?

As Summer 2026 rolls into its second week, Camp Manitowa is preparing for a Fourth of July celebration in Benton—and we’re giving our two-week campers the opportunity to stick around for the fun.

Families of two-week campers have been invited to extend their campers’ stay through Sunday morning, allowing them to celebrate the Fourth of July at camp alongside their friends and counselors.

And for some campers, the summer may not have to end there.

This summer marks a new chapter for Camp Manitowa, with Session I expanding to include a third continuous week of camp. As our two-week campers approach the end of their originally scheduled stay, families will have the opportunity to explore extending into Week Three.

It’s a decision inspired by what we’ve seen throughout an incredible first session so far: campers having fun, building friendships, finding their place at camp, and—in many cases—not feeling quite ready to leave.

We know summer plans look different for every family, and an extended stay won’t be possible for everyone. But for campers with a little more Manitowa left in them, Week Three is waiting.

First, we celebrate the Fourth.

Then?

Maybe we keep the magic going just a little longer. ✌🏼🏕️🇺🇸
