As the weather warms and the lake comes back to life, Camp Manitowa begins to fill with the sounds of gathering, learning, and adventure again.
This season brings special opportunities for families, young leaders, and the camp community to come together in meaningful ways. Here are two events we’re especially excited about this spring.
Chillin’ with Dylan: Girls Empowerment Retreat
Chillin’ with Dylan is a special retreat focused on building confidence, connection, and leadership among young women.
Led by Dylan and the Camp Manitowa team, the retreat creates a supportive environment where girls can unplug from daily pressures and spend time growing together in nature. The weekend includes group activities, outdoor adventures, conversations about leadership and self-confidence, and classic camp experiences like campfires and time by the lake.
It’s a chance for girls to step outside their comfort zones, build friendships, and leave camp feeling empowered and inspired.

Mother–Daughter Weekend
Mother–Daughter Weekend is designed to bring families together for a meaningful and memorable experience at camp.
Over the course of the weekend, mothers and daughters participate in camp activities, creative workshops, shared meals, and evening gatherings around the fire. The retreat is all about slowing down, spending intentional time together, and creating memories that last long after the weekend ends.
Set against the peaceful backdrop of Camp Manitowa and nearby Rend Lake, it’s a special opportunity to reconnect and enjoy camp side by side.
