For the third year, Camp Manitowa is offering amazing trips to the Smoky Mountains for campers entering 9th and 10th grade. Trip dates are: June 20-26 and July 18-24. This year we are partnering with Mountain Challenge based out of Maryville College in Maryville, TN. Mountain Challenge has been facilitating groups and leading trips for over 25 years. Providing a safe and quality experience make up their first principles of service. Visit their website to learn more about the organization: www.mtnchallenge.com
In addition to 3 Camp Manitowa staff members going on the trip, Mountain Challenge will provide a trained guide for the trips certified in first aid and CPR. Mountain Challenge will also offer workshops on sustainability. environmental ecology, and team building.
We believe this type of trip offers a unique opportunity for our high school students to create a significant bond and develop strong friendship through shared experiences while gaining a greater appreciation for the outdoors. Join us for this great trip and create memories that will last a lifetime!
